Clay started in the industry helping a local friend with his lawn business. Soon after Clay started out on his own by saving money and investing in his own equipment.He built up a reliable book of clientele over the years.
In 2020, Jody joined the team and helped expand the operations in the San Antonio market.
We love the yard business because we enjoy beautifying our communities, helping those that need help taking care of their properties, and take pride in hard work and a job well done.
A Fort Worth native, Clay graduated from Southwest High School in 1996. He got started in the lawn maintenance business helping a friend out from his softball team in his spare time to eventually branch out on his own and found Southwest Lawn & Garden in 2011. An exceptional mechanic, Clay is instrumental in keeping the company’s equipment in working order to serve our customers. Clay’s hobbies include restoring his 1961 Ford F100 unibody, snowboarding, and watching Star Trek.
A resident of San Antonio since 2008 with his wife Kristen, Jody graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 2000, and Texas A&M in 2004 where he was a third generation cadet with a bachelor’s degree in construction science. Jody’s hobbies include skiing, animal rescue, and old Fords.
